Fair warm, evening cloudy milder: Up 7:45, mom already up, w/o bath, go out w mom for soy milk, etc. breakfast as planned afte Miao-ling tel asking about Dju. Jung tel. Later Ying tell w Chen Wu-tien tel.no. Simple lunch. Evening out myself to Dagoda then bread, fruits home, Hiro in the room, out again for 2 hour blog, now 8:22, till 8:40? Emails delete only. Home: mom has had her dinner, dinner, mom calls Hiro up for dinner then bath. 11:05pm Ying tel mom > me > Hiro on Dju. Bed, 12:25.

2005.6.29=3[#180]:4703.5.23[++#21]:T#43 Hiro back shaving, Chen commes 260 bus to Chih-shan-yen, back home together, Chen off, then comes to hospital

Cloudy fair warm, turning cloudy milder, sudden night rain: Up 8am, Hiro back for shaving and so on then hospital, Chen tel for Chih-shan-yen house inspection, then Du tel for me to call back afternoon about our decesion on Ji-shang, wash clothes twice. Afternoon, follow Chen bus 260 to Chih... 3rd floor, then walk around nicely visiting restraurants and buying 6 bao-tse. All 3 of us taxi back home, 5:45pm tel Ying home (2:45am!) without calculating times, he sounds ok, even without coughing this time, but not helpful in helping mom to decide, but succeeding in alarming mom about Ying's health finally, wanting to go back the States immediately. Chen goes to prevents sale of the house to another pary, according to Chen. Sudden night rain then stops? Chen tel and mom changes her mind and ready to go to hospital, taxi with him. The emergency room is big, with nurses, doctors in the center next to the door, surrounded by computers and a few X-ray examining machines, further away patients on bed all around, 30-50? Actually very nice. Dju is told not to eat or drink any, no high-blood-pressure drugs either. Some argument about thirsty, finally I give a tiny amout with cotton-sticks supplied by a nurse, but she simply drinks, saying one doctor has said ok. Still the kidney stone problem! It's ok quietly, but when over-eaten or exercised, functions to produce certain matter, pains and pains. One doctor tells of inflamation of of the whole final testine(!). Finally follow, after some newspaper reading, them to 2nd floor Medicare room of 3 patients and 3 narrow sofa bed. Home with mom, Ying tel long then mom scolding Hiro. Mom told Chen giving up buying this year, but now suddenly she says perhaps we offer a lower price for Chih... house, which we both did separately with the same price of NT$1,7000,0000, bed 1:05.

2005.6.28=2[#179]:4703.5.22[++#20]:T#42 A night of terror of Dju's pain, after a day of vacation trip by her and her friends.

Cloudy warm, night rain: Dju starts her vacation trip very early, then I up 6:45, hair/bath, NHK shows the Okinawa tragedy of WW2, Hsing-yi Chang tel again, but we are not for another house-hunting, facing the "final" decision on the 2 of Chih-shan-yen & Ji-shang nearby. 5:05pm, Dju is back already, because of rain, with all kinds of bread for our dinner, Dju has lots of hsien-tsao, fruits, and so on, accoring to mom. Hiro and I are ready for throwing away 2 bags of terrible trash (one incl. outside rotten under rain), getting Dju off toilet complaining stomackache then at 9:30 already. After that, the night of Dju's pain terror starts, after vomitting and still painful, mom continues to demand Hiro to buy bowling drug, as Hiro then I speak for going to hospital, as I discover Dju had kidney stone 26 years ago(?) in Taichung, almost forced to hospital from pain? Later Jung tells me Dju had one more stone pain 4 years ago in Taiwan. 12:20 finally Hiro/Dju to Mckay Hospital emergency room, then almost total bowling with blood, and still painful, later learn. I to bed first 12:30?

Cloudy warm then rain: Up for toilet at 4:50am and discover the front iron door is already open and the 3rd floor is bright (coming home?) Up 7:30, Ying tel that wiring $10,0000 or more is open for inspection. Hair/bath, Dju again talks about money! Mom tel Chiu not coming, Ying tel that Jung has expressed that mom's intention of sending flower on Hsin is not customary in the States. Dju succeeds in postponing Chih-shan-yen house another day, as Tuesday. 2 ladies out for hair then back. Nearby 8th floor apt (Dju wants this one) is going to be sold, it seems, as Ms. Du tel Dju. Rain, Hiro out for Zong-tse & Bao-tse very quickly for lunch. To Fu-hua Hotel jewlry show, meeting Ms. Liu Yu-lan/Miao-ling. Mom's desire to buy a NT$8,0000 ruby(?) ring induces Dju to buy one for 2,5000. Liu is very suspecious about this kind of trade, and others also expect Dju? So mom's jewrly in the air. 4 of us have 2 big sandwiches finally at the bottom restraurant watching up the whole hotel, then rush to the National Music Hall at the last minute in successfully, watching Taipei Women's Chorus celebrating 20th year. Moveing with loud applause, but 2 Chinese songs intentionally inducing applause "against Taiwanese sensibility", it seems to me. Home, the jewlry person comes to downstair for money, but is told for next day. Hiro tel Hsiang then Jung in the US now, Dju takes over still selling the 8th floor, then I explain it, then I ask Jung to call Ying often to cheer him up (any danger in health?) Bed 12:40.

Cloudy fair warm turning milder: Up 7:15, breakfast & diary/calendars, Dju argues against mom about always accused of taking advantage of mom on money. All out walk around looking at jewlries. Chih-shan-yen realtor tel and agrees Dju's request to postpone our decision till next Tuesday morning because we are busy about jewlry till Monday exhibition. Zong-tse for dinner, I to bed first at 11:55.

Cloudy & mildly warm: Up 6:25 after Hiro, Miao-ling then Liu Yu-lan tel Dju. Check old newspapers and discuss the apt nearby, 1 of 2 for the last decision, Dju tel them also. Mom sleeps in the morning and the afternoon, then all 4 of us to the apt, after Ms. Du tel again. Mom gives up twice to climb up stairs. But, we all see much better this time, I definitely choose A2 for much better view, w/o being surrounded by tall buildings, and far better position of the master bedroom. Dju gets Du's consent to wait until next Wednesday. Walk and check some jewrly by Dju for her daughters, then to a new shabu-shabu for a good dinner, then here for 2 hours Internet, now 9:44pm (one hour finishing blogs). Then read more emails than usual, and answer Ron twice here, till 10:40. Home, augue against Dju about ?? Bed 1:10.

This time mom thought she lost girdle (she left at home) adding even more unluck. Ying tel and finally reveals to me about his rather serious heart condition as the reason for not joining us here for home buying. Dju back rather early meeting big rain up the mt. Hsing-yi Chang tel, and 3 of us meet him at Chang-an E Rd, 3rd fl facing a girl's middle school not far from raised Jian-guo N Rd? Mom: very, very good, after complaining about the bldg facing a big road, but thick glass almost completely blocking noise. Feet root skin crack, so no bath. Ying tel 11pm walking. Bed 11:40.

Hsueh tel still w/o luck on Meng-tien, then turn to mom excited a moment at Lisa's voice. Chiu in, xerox Nanking E Rd 4&5 fl leases, and house/land taxes of all 3: Nanking, Shuang-cheng, & Hsin-bu. Tel Su of the corner bldg, busy repairing. At first Jung wants to bring mom back to the States, separated from Hsiang who is going tonight, on 24th Friday, insisting we could finish buying our new home. Ying tel mom then Jung long till noon, while Hsiang packing. Jung out with Dju to buy high blood pressure drug failing. She changes to go tonight, and also mom decides not to buy home this time!! Then mom wants to take a look at the nearby corner building, Dju and me visited yesterday. A long tel then wait for Mr. Suu to call back for an inspection, no call until 5:30, left for blog here, now 6:30, almost ending one hour blog. Then only delete "Bulk". Home, all in: Hsiang/Jung at the last packing then ready for bus at Huaguo Hotel to airport, all wait for mom to make up mind to go out for a quick dinner for a while. Out and it's too late, Hs/J buy bento, then 2 sis talk about wired money distribution and Hiro's eye medicine? Bye, bye and Dju is angry for a while. Finally to a restraurant up to 2nd floor for 3 noodles etc. Mom finally agrees to share a bit w Dju's soup noodly, soup is said to be delicious. Home, then Hiro helps to throw away 2 trashes then they back to hotel leaving mom and me only. Jung tel from airplane not yet flying (10:50 schedule) for me to take care of her health ins. bill. Bath, bed 12:05, but lost sleep a while, next morning also.

Home, tel Mr. Ho from an ad flyer for apt, all walk to 40 Nung-an St. tall building. Apt old unrepaired, somewhat noisy, but w good views. Off under rain drops, walk around, I into a new building into a "miracle" unanticipated: we walk after a lady up 4th floor then down then up, around unfinished apts. It seems so nice, give 5,000 to hold 11th floor one until Sunday. Home, Ying tel, to bed w/o bath 12:30, Hsiang/Jung back from a movie not happily.

Upon finishing, tel Chen to go to the apt, told to call again on reaching, We reach there in a far better weather now, walk to a "Dog Dog ..." western restraurant, then tel Chen again who wants me to tel again on reaching the place, answer we are nearby and going (not clearly telling him not calling again), walk back then across street to a small cooler Chih-cheng park waiting on newspaper over half an hour, mom getting anxious and move up to 5th floor apt for rent also. Advised and tel again. Checking carefully and Dju talks to Chen for NT$1750,0000 rather than published $193or60,0000, holding it for a week, with $1,0000 returnable deposit, desiring to further negotiate down further at the last direct talk. Up to the top of the building for a good view, down back to the 4-room (2 masters)apt of 3rd fl, Jung tel Dju informing and for 8pm Chen visit. Apart in front of the bldg, walk around to take a view of it and then walk left this time up to the intersection near a bridge over Wai-shuang-hsi River and the park. Taxi back to our market, dow-hua, then leave myself with a sweet coming here for one-hour Internet but just having extended to two, now 6:31pm. Home to me only dinner, 8pm sharp Chen in, I continue to finish dinner, Chen shows a book on the apt incl. history etc., and document offering to buy not done, still "keep" for one week, now w/o NT$10,0000. Later Ying tel. turning to Dju for long then Jung. Also upstair tenant's hus walking down caught by me, start talking also with Dju, continue to upstair, non-leaking gurantee document copy and June rental receipt, and US address/tel no/names given, receiving NT$2,0000, down together for my bank copy w acct.no. given. Give Dju 1,2000 for her hotel fee. 12:05? bed.

Mom wants to buy the Chih-shan-yen apt in Shin-lin at the mouth of Yang-ming Mt., so Hsiang tel Hsin-yi Chen for its history and so on, I off to bank, post off for delivery schedule, home, Hsiang off to District Off, tel 3rd fl. tenant cell phone and can only leave message. Ying tel then mom. I make over-all arr of documents, copy home then Nanking E Rd renting info, Ying tel Jung for long resisting(?) Jung's strong argument for buying big and nice apt for all to get together and mom, who has felt good coming back to Taiwan this time, to live in Taipei also. Hsiang home for lunch then 2 of them off. Unable to reach Dju about our unanimous desire for the apt. Continue to manage documents and nap, then Hsiang tel for me to back to p.o for my cell phone. Mom & me good dinner from left-over. Guo Djong-chi tel informed by Yang Jui-chih that Betty gone and coming for a visit Sunday morning. Hs/J home, Ying tel reminding mom for tomorrow's dental appt., bath, bed 12:05.

Very nice, but mom isn't inclined to buy them. Still 2 taxis to home right away for late rich lunch of Zung-tze 2 kinds, half bao-tze. Then here for 2 hours 4:45-6:45 Internet. Now 5:27pm, answer Ron on EU then off to rice, bread & shashih drinks, home: mom joined by Dju cooks tai fish. Rush w Hiro for trash missing it and back. Then Chiu comes with whole bunch of ownership documents (cannot find one for the NT$320,000 then Jung tel)etc. and about power delegation document expiring, all related to what Hsiang has just asked about, xerox one father's early Land Bank book. All out, mom for hair, Hs/J out & back & out within minutes, then come here right away for 2 hours Internet, now 1:40pm, answer Ron again simply, delete some. Home for late, big lunch, Dju in, Ren-jan tel, and Yi-min and a grandson come in rain late, Yi parks hard. So we all have their bamboo shoot, gi-dzun, bitter melon/pineapple/chicken soup which invades 2 remote controls & diary not seriously. The little child's aura likes my childhood's? but very friendly and active. They left early. 2 sis argued and discussed about dancing shoe incident to early years' many matters, sometimes heatedly turning to calm and friendly to Dju withdrawing her repeated apology. All ends in a good atmosphere. Bath, bed 12:25pm.

Hsueh tel Meng-tien not working, Chiu tel mom ending up mom decides to go to her hometown, Hsiang gets 2 air tickets from Dju back, Dju/Hiro in, Hsiang tel getting a way of renting van. Dju very seriously warn Chiu might be able to sell mom's property, so finally I tel Chen accountant office informing a son for my intention to visit them for our changing situation, Hs or J suggest to talk to other accountant first. I continue to tel A-Mei finally for the first time, finding she has paid credit card bill and bank account should be safe and informing her about my blog which I have told Sje-jun. All to Yoshimura for lunch, then J/Hs & mom/me walk to Tatung Co. applying for record, share-holder meeting over so only getting shaving knife.. To First Securities with mom this time and register Tatung stocks, apply for record only later ones available, taxi to nearby China Trust again for Taiwan Cement Co. record to be mailed, but only even more recent ones. Hiro/Dju in after 10, go to Nat. Hist. Museum as mom wishes to see Buddism to China program starting, mom buys NT$300 paper fan, so I buy "Taiwan's beginning in 17th c." 100 and "Soil houses{?} of China" 140, after checking pagoda book for an idea of building tall structure above "tang-ha", after examining "White Snake Biography" exhibition on history of pagoda building in China. The snake is suppossed to be buried under a famous pagoda. Dju buys a good wristle hand ornament 100 for long hours, we walk and wait for her, to Teacher's Meeting Hotel for a good lunch. Hs/J leaves right after, then we discuss about whether to accompany Dju to dancing shoes stores nearby under light rain. Hsueh wants for a little meng-tien, so mom, she and I taxi to Guang-hua Shang-chang's computer store street of Ba-deh Rd at Sung-jiang Rd. Many crowded stores, Hsueh finally gets what she has wanted, a drawing pad, and I buy without any planning computer microphone, earphone, camera, and keyboard with Chinese characters etc. in addition to alphabet, all very cheap and almost all Made in China. Cloudy fair then cloudy even with tiny rain drops, warm: Up 5:20, mom already up. Jung tel and Hsiang out for taxi to Hsin-bu, finally for 2, 9:30 to 3:00 back, for NT#3100 each. Fortunately, they manage to come before 8:50, H/Dj very punctual. Hsiang/Jung & I in front taxi, mom, Hsueh & Hiro/Dju in following one. I have fully organized maps, a little sleep then from Yang-mei 115, Hsiu-tsai Rd down south to Jao-men police off then T-section waiting for Jan-tong & Fon-dien with sacrifice stuff to our house, 3 incenses front, back & behind to heaven for each, with candles lighted by Fon-dien, mom kneals 3 times w/o any clean cover, also bow several times joined by us for 2 coins to show acceptance by ancestors and father. Then Fon-dien burns silver papers with Hiro and me. Meanwhile mom talks with the father then the son apologizing to Chiu again? Dju joins by side. I knock Ken-chan's door, leave greeting to his children, then lock piano room from inside, but unable to close tight side door. Follow them to the usual Jih-sheng restraurant, this time feel safe with us 7 and 2 drivers, Hsiang requests public chopstick with each dish, and taste very good indeed! Then straight to Jan-tong's place, after I tel again from the T-spot waiting for Fon-Dien to lead the way, for talk and some sleep and tea, air-condition comes a little later. The elder Jan-tong shows us, Hiro and me, Japan's past Education Edict(djokugo} and his own instruction to family members (I assume), which includes "Don't listen to your wife", protested by sis. Home around 4pm, so here for 2 hours Internet, now 6:03pm. Delete then just a few emails again. Home no one, so to market to discover only mom and Hsueh, I take over a few stuff from sis back to home, Hsiang/J home, Hsueh packs up for going back to Osaka. Night all watch and listen to Ma Yoyo's silk road music, simple bath, first(?) to bed 11:20.

Fair warm: Up 6:50 while Hsueh sits up in bed, full air-conditioning (usually so far only the secondary of reducing water from the wet air and weak blowing), think about initiating over-all preparation for taking over management of our Taiwan property, even from abroad, in case of sudden change. Tel Dju who received Ying's 3 quarters tel call at 11pm and very tired. Hsiang tel some for long. Have not tel Chen accountant about my idea, or Ren-jan. Mom is tired also, but soon Hiro/Dju come, all ready to finally go to Miramir mall, to Jien-tan station then take Mm bus there, soon all 7 there, as Hsueh is leaving next Monday. Hsiang left for Yang-ming hospital then meets Hsin-yi, but his call to me somehow missed. Good lunch, later we buy fruits from the supermarket there. Home, then out to Yoshimura restraunt this time for NT$970. Mom keeps calling Chiu to smooth her out, then asks her daughter how to go back to Hsinbu tomorrow by bus, she talks with Jan-tong also. Ying tel and tells mom it's very much not gracious for her age to take bus that way, has to be taxi. Quick bath, I'm the first to bed at 11:55.

Back to home, Chiu comes, Dju talks about property, I ask Chiu about mom's stock record inciting her greatly again ending in big shouting match and so on! Perhaps because of wirinng almost all money and getting all stocks, Chiu is even more upset than before. (Father incredibly refrained from asking to see his own bank books from Chiu who has never voluntarily present them when we were back in Taiwan, or timely mail father's money record to father, after father's repeatedly request.) Still we are out to the regular place for bantiao lunch for NT$410. Later to Ming-shen Hsin-yi realtor again, this time with mom and H/Dj. They burn incense to Bak-gung, the Earth god, then to a nearby apt facing Ming-shen E Rd. It's old and noisy so really not suitable, then receiving Jung's tel that they are back from Kimoy without key lent to Hsueh, to enter home. So we all back to our market, I walk to home to open, fruit and dentistry, J/Hs back and I go for blog. Home, Jung is still tel for the bank wiring matter, Chiu cooks but left soon, later Jung finish cooking for a big dinner. Arrange and count stocks less than half, bath, last to bed 11:20.

Chiu comes 12:40 with the first part of Land Bank balances copy still lacking to later ones for some years, and First Bank ones just before them, complains again as always when she supplies any info or documents related to her work for us in Taiwan, and argue between her and Dju from hotel. Leading to mom tired and changes her mind not to go out to look for houses. Later, go with Hsueh to Ming-shen E Rd Hsin-yi, walk leisurely to a much quieter almost suburb-like street level apartment. After one hour 2 of us walk to a big computer store nearby, where she finally buys a electronic dictionary. Back to our market for some food for home dinner. Hiro/Dju just had dinner, have some more then go earlier to hotel for pub tv "228" one-hour program. Very sad. 2 women to bed first, bath, bed 11:50.

Fair mildy warm turning cloudy: Up 6:50, very quietly face, bed, Hsueh then mom up, Chiu in, go with Hs for opening a bank account lacking one extra id, back then to computer one hour, delete emails from index then blog to yesterday. Home and Hiro/Dju in, Dj talks seriously about how mom's property should be given to one who lives with her, regardless of one's necessity. Interrupt with question about today's action plan, then shown what Chiu has done with mom's stocks out of 4-5 envelopes by year, start checking them and warned by her not to mess them up, ask her rather angrily about any record of stock lists, Chiu explodes (any info or materials of what she has been doing for us gurantee her anger, like past few days, threatening to stop her work for us) getting mom to scold me (rather than having complained sideway about Dju inviting(?!) Chiu's outburst, getting me to explode also leading to her extraordinary explosion and threats, for mom and Dju to bow before her, so to speak, begging her to stay with us today. 4 of us a taxi then Hiro/Dju bus quickly to Ming-shen Hsin-yi realtor 1:50pm, walking all with the same Mr. Jao across Ming-shen E Rd nearby elevator up a few floors to a vacamt apartment, dark and noisy, just different from yesterday's apt, which is now almost sold? Hiro reveives tel from Jung that they are back from Kinmoy without key (lent to Hsueh). Soon 4 of us back to our market, I walk to home for fruits and dentistry, Hsiang/Jung back, baths, receive from me Hsin-ju govt notice to receive above NT$320,000 land compensation, and 2 items of wiring money a few days ago with problems, Hsiang starts to tel his Schwab off in Taipei, when I come here for 2-hour again after morning's one hour. Now 4pm, till after 5pm? 5:20 Hsiang drop in to check their acct info, home and Jung tel for acct info also. Chiu at kitchen soon leaves, Dju tel only, they have come back from Taijung last night. Jung finishes cooking for a good dinner. Arrange and count stocks less than half, bath, last to bed 11:20.

Mom wants to take bus and we walk but change to taxi home. Hiro/Dju there, easy dinner. Ying tel over 30 minutes, first answered by me with Jung's idea of how Ying and mom live equally together in 2 houses, then by mom then Hsueh talking about the possibility of mom going to Osaka next Monday with Hsueh to live there a while. We talk about wiring money and I complain and scold. Bath, bed 11:50 first.

Ying tel mom 10:25-:53, stating Betty asked him to visit her uncle and brother in Shanghai. Manage documents and newspapers. Hsiang tel several times about Hsin-juang Hakka festival activities but misses me then too late. Near noon, off to exchange trash bags and also cell phone which can be used in most places except almost only Japan and Korea, otherwise... 2 women finishing lunch as I start, they sleep, I documents only and weekend tv dramas. Later we walk to a lady next to the past Mrs. Jiang for some cloth modification but only her husband talks to us. As Hsueh suggets, I come here for 2 hours Internet hours for the first time, Hsueh has just come here for the key, now already 6:30. It's till 6:50 only. Home, Hsiang suggests Min-sheng E. Rd. houses to buy. I first bed 11:15.

Hsiang tel Jung about one of his "classmate" having managed to have family members to go to Kimoy, we all express our desire to do the same, but soon find it's not possible any more. Ying tel and talk with Jung also for long. 10:30am all 4 of us taxi to a fancy dancing shoe store then some cloth stores along Nan-chang St. for some buying by 2 sis, esp. by Jung. Jewel stores for mom's "ruby" ornament without any purchase. With Mei next year? Walk to a Taiwanese-Japanese artists exhibition in the Art Edu. Musuem next to the Nat. Mus. of History, listen an artist explaining just a while, then to the NMofH, reach a downstair speech about the Early Taiwanese arts back up to meet them, mom regrets missing a Dun-huang exh. just over. Upstair to ETa exh of Chinese-style arts, by "3 Lin" artists employed by Ban-chiao Lin family and so on, almost unknown to many of us, because of the Japanese colonial rule. 3rd and 4th floor regular Chinse art, archaeology & history exh, and 5th floor oil paintings and a few sketch seashore & sea scenery exh by a Ping-dung artist & educator, hopefully he will go abroad soon. We have a short coffee break there watching the gold fishes fed lively, after Jung decided to do so though a little expensive. Taxi to the Chiang Kai-shek Mem. Park nearby, to bath myself failing to have them join me, I lost myself unable to find them waiting close for quite a while, rather worried and annoyed but still manage to walk and enjoy one whole long line out of three, of spectacular open photos of Taiwan from space(?), meet the lowering the national flag, then walk after a number of kids imitating and following uniformed flag-lowering men back to near the restrooms and find them walking out after a long, long wait for me. Walk to a very special and small "One soup family" restraurant for a dinner of a delicious dish, rice & Chinese medicine soup of NT$150 each, with 2 personnel there really skinny. Walk back to the park to discover a good competition performance by drama students and so on on a stage backed by a electric artistic lively backgroung, also with a few young lady spectator acting happpily under for a few minutes. Jung prompts mom to give up after about half an hour for home. All off as I want to buy bread and milk, discover a Dagoda cell phone store, sign up for a new cell no. for 2 years, home finish fruits with them then rush to get trash off as Hsiang tells me a better way to have cell phones just for a short times in Taiwan and goes, buy official trash bag home, bath, bed 12:30 after all 3 women already bed.

Hsueh acc.no. problem for wiring, lunch of Tsoi-bao, etc., 2 women talk on bed then sleep, finish roughly calculate to see balance without understanding contents of fixed period accounts. Walk to the regular newly air-conditioned restraurant with NT$25 noodle, but with full duck and kidney.. dishes $315 seems too much. Still cloudy mild: Up 6am, all by 6:40, tel Chiu ok & Ying failing, Jung finally succeeds in tel Fidelity in US for mom's acc. info. Chiu waits and tel from bank, we all go (without Hiro/Dju unable to join) to Taiwan Land Bank in Shih-lin and wire $300,000 to US, I manage to have bank transaction record xeroed quite a lot making up missing gaps handed in by Chiu, record since 1998 only. Chiu again complains about suspecion on her disposal of our "remoldering right" money leading to Hsiang real upset storm out without his hat. Walk to have simple lunch, while I sneak to Li-ba Realtor office getting 3 Shih-lin residence for sale info, incl. one right neaby next lane a 3-story quite attracted, but they don't want to take a look. Walking, I get a short wool pant while Hsueh some powder food, Jung goes first with Chiu's keys. Home, Jung off, I xerox today's bank transactions, Chiu shows "right money" private record in 1991, promise to get bank record if ever possible. 3 women sit sleeping, ask Chiu and she left also. Later Hsueh cooks fish etc. Hsiang left for officially arrange hotel nearby, leaving Jung here. Hair bath, then bed 11:30 rather warm, waking around 1am rather than usual 2am.

Cloudy mild: Up late 7:50, Hsiang off already, breakfast, Hsaing back then off with Jung. Mom & Hsueh want to do hair, then we go with Chiu to accountant Mr. Chen. But, then Dju and later Chiu come, Chiu now insists it was NT$500,000 not 700,000, with all documents, she says and is quite upset, mom has been suspect and angry for many years. 4 women left for hair and give up back, then go around 2pm, I blog one hour till "upset". Home, Hsiang is back, 3:45 4 girls hair done back, I arrange from start tax & property documents. Hsiang's 2 sisters with one child each come separately and surprised to find us all here, Jung hasn't told them about us, bringing Chung-li's very delicious Tsoi-bao (Vegetable bumb?), one continues to teach at an university up from college in Chung-li, by getting an UC Berkeley master's degree. They all left for dinner at 6:15. Tsoi-bao, simple bath, bed 11:40.

Cloudy mild: Up 5:10, mom 6:50 then Hsueh, with her rush to buy rather plenty soy milk breakfast when Jung to mom with Hsueh mentions her talk with Ying in LA, the almost definite possibility of Ying living with mom in 2 places NOT as a guest but as his own house also, with mom, Hsiang has left for District Off. Jung wants, and with mom, Hsueh, myself, to Yuan-ling St., first to Official Central Health Insurance Off., similar to US Medicare, mom protesting that she has the card, quickly done, Hsueh joins with her first application for next time. They leave for Y-l St. first, wait for her card for 25 instead of 40 minutes. Walk through a few banks for info, to National Museum in the 228 Peace Park, for over one hour of Taiwan history through maps, nature, space. Rush to Y-l St, missing any Dagoda cell phone office, and meet them at the usual corner, Hsueh trying cloth, around a while then across street to rice noodle etc. Then try to sit down outlet after outlet waiting for their shopping, buy a sleep gown NT$290, 2 pairs of long and tightening socks $100, a long spoon for mail box $20 and a US style fruit knife $40, give up some kind of fancy cloth for Mei, meet Hiro/Dju in that limited space for a short time, finally a shopping spree for evening fruits bargains, to home a little late, Hsiang alone all afternoon. Discover a small rain-related(?) insect from my sleep cover later another one over bed, bath, bed 12:05.

Rather cloudy mild: 7:55 up finally, quick face w/o bath then breakfast also by mom/Hsueh. Hs/J off, mom wants to see houses, Chiu tel not ready for houses inspection yet then mom is tired. 10:30 Dj/H in, tel Liu about cell phone, 11:00 Chiu in with contract, house taxes, insurance, bank and cash balance tables, later ask for land taxes, earthquake insurance for rent building, and bank books. Near noon quick lunch, Hiro tel his US tenant, Dju leave message to LA's Ying. 2:20 Hs/J back, so now we have all 3 sisters here. I have finally found application for mom to move district registration to rent building. Discussion getting serious, 4:30 to 5:10? about property taxes, how to reduce inheritance taxes, ending in Chiu tel accountant Chen who is rather reluctant to answer on the phone, later we decide to visit him 6.2=3 morning. Chiu mentions that we received some right money for a builder to re-build building here, then she insists she has wired NT$700,000 to the USA, Dju perplexed and mom quite annoyed. Then I ask openly about not dividinng money and property to evade taxes so for sisters to give up property in Hsinbu, dead quiet by Jung. Then here, now 6:35pm. Barely able to delete emails. Early dinner. Jung calls for gas so I tel. then prepare for trash disposal, bath, bed 11:55.
