I agree that the Universal Human Rights laws is perhaps the way to go. Is it at least partially subscribed by the US? Since, the American laws has to treat all treaties and international laws subscribed by the US as part of the American laws, the American courts are legally required to abide by all American laws and international laws subscribed by the US. Hence, the gross violation of Taiwanese universal human rights cannot be ruled as "political" matters? And, the reason of [No solution in the court] due to the issue is or are the political is used by Uncle Sam to request the court to dismiss the case. (We are okay at the moment, and we still have the case yet). We go around by asking If Taiwanese still have the civil right under the US constitution. This is the law suit of the civil right and that is the only way to do. There is no emotion or politic be involved. Strictly law by law is the only battle we can fight. Please read Roger¡¦s article I sent recently. It will give you very clear concept that Taiwan is still under the USMG occupation. We are handling laws only without any emotion. Once the court rules Taiwanese shall be protected by US constitution, then, you can say anything you like! Trained as an investigative journalist, Patrick Tyler is a marvelous writer, combining shrewd diplomatic analysis with deft descriptions of the protagonists, many of whom he saw in action when he was New York Times bureau chief in Beijing. His cast of characters includes the greatest political figures of the day, from Mao and Gorbachev to six American presidents, beginning with Nixon, whose bold knocking opened China's door, and ending with Clinton's gamely attempting to balance America's commercial interests with human rights issues. Tyler's personal experience and formidable research, including 15,000 pages of newly declassified documents, produce gems such as Brezhnev's attempt to run off with a briefcase belonging to an American negotiator visiting the men's room, and the shocking picture of Kissinger passing national secrets to Chinese officials. Just this week, the supposedly libertarian blogger Glenn Reynolds has endorsed the deployment of US death squads intended to target Iranian civilians: "This has been obvious for a long time anyway, and I don't understand why the Bush Administration has been so slow to respond. Nor do I think that high-profile diplomacy, or an invasion, is an appropriate response. We should be responding quietly, killing radical mullahs and iranian atomic scientists, supporting the simmering insurgencies within Iran, "" "" Mona over at Unqualified Offerings neatly captures what Reynold’s proposal indicates about the progress of the hawks descent into barbarism: "Now, the respected (look, he is, whether readers here like it or not) law professor Glenn Reynolds is advocating extra-judicial murder of civilians at the whim of George W. Bush – and Hugh Hewitt thinks that’s a great idea. As Greenwald documents, these Bush supporters are embracing a policy Abraham Lincoln explicitly rejected as barbaric during the height of this nation’s bloody Civil War. "" "" The character of these is far from being unique to this site. I don’t want to turn your stomach more than I have, but browsing any war-hawk site will turn up many similar examples. What I want to note here is that the logical conclusion of the arguments offered is that the US must wipe every single Moslem off the face of the earth. "" "" The Nazis drew support from figures as cultured and intelligent as Heidegger. The Holocaust could happen there because decent Germans were unable to believe it could happen there. And so it could happen again today. And the next Holocaust, if we don’t stop it, is likely to make the previous one seem like child’s play.
