That is my impression, at least. In some ways, they have a distinct advantage in that Vermont is not that large. People are closer together, easier to reach, are not so scattered into different communities, probably less divided by the types of micro-cultures than exist in a region as large as Cascadia, etc. Using their site and the writings of Naylor and others as a guideline, I'd also say that though there are clear cultural distinctions between Cascadia and Vermont, there are also similarities in idealogy, goals and possibly more. Essentially, we seem to be fighting for the same things and are seeking to live the same sort of lifestyles. (I see that in New Hampshire, as well). "" #III.
