2005.8.8=1[#220]:4703.7.4+++#1]:T#83 & U#1 Back to US: no Jubei or tenancy mngmt problem w Dien!, front "yard" ok, Hiro store, Yuck's son prob,no tel

This is the last & 83rd day in Taiwan this time, and the resumption 1st day in the USA [T#83 & U#1 ]. One sleep and up 5:40, tel Chiu not going to Jubei, hair bath shaving, wash mom's blanket? etc. Jubei returns my tel for details of "delegation paper", Chiu has tel also. The downstair new owner tel seeking our consent for them to surround his majority portion of our front "yard" or "walking hall" w iron door to keep others' trash out, which he legally own only one third. I gladly ok it, and he says he originally wanted to ask Chiu. 10:30, Chiu arrives, and it's ok to just fill-out delegation paper I took from District Office, and signed by mom. What a great day to stay home to prepare leaving. Dju and Hiro to Hsing-tien Kung to thank god there for answering mom's donation and prayer for safe surgery and so on. First, 3 ladies out for hair, I to the Intntl Bus Bk depositing NT$2,0000, and register for online checking, as just mentioned by Chiu. Later I did same to the Changhwa Bk. At the 1st bank, Hiro comes notifying me that ladies are at our regular bantiao store, so delicious lunch there for the last time on this time in Taiwan. Then to the 2nd bank, then home. Chiu packs mom's stuff further, and makes fun of Hiro having not enough time going downtown drugstore, as Dju reminds him not to go to bookstores or buy any books and be back by 6pm for our last dinner. 4:45-52 Jan-tong go tel: NT$235,0000, 8 months, starting on 9.5=1:lunar 8.2 to repair "tang-ha", contract w a Beigang man $35,0000 now paid, finished by the end of the year? Dien comes and asks me about upstair needing current delegation paper for coming new contract, which I have obtained when some of us getting del paper for NT$32,0000. So, after both Chiu and Dien (according to Dju, by phone) decidedly refuse to manage tenancy matter here!! I'm of course quite releaved. Hiro is back before 6:30 "miraculously", all 6 to a new shabu-shabu store on De-hui Street, happily enjoyed our last dinner here. For myself, also miraculously selected & packed all my stuff, forgetting only my facial towel and 2 toothbrush, around 8:30 Dien gets all downstair to the car, Chiu and Dju even embrace. Then turn around for Hiro back to pick up cloth, off we go. Not too many cars and our driver drives quickly by changing lanes, helps us about our bagages again, gets $1300 instead of 1100 w our gratitude. Leisurely walking down the 2nd airport, meet Sui-yuck's son, who helps me as I brush my teeth walking. Center isle of 4 seats, far right one for me and left Hiro, Getting to seat, mom is furious that Dju carries heavy stuff. 2 movies then long sleep time, another film for breakfast. Accompany Yuck's son for staying 13 months in Taiwan and going back yearly, help to translate, get ok with serious conditions, for one hour. Getting to similar car leaving airport, feeling quite same as approaching airport 15 hours earlier in Taiwan, at about the same time now in the USA finally!! First to our old house, with only one big baggage of mom's, Dju and Hiro already start quarrelling a little, give Dju $70 for driver. Phone is out, forget tv channel numbers, eat a little, and to bed 11:55.
